Welcome, from Ilkley & Addingham ringers!

Visitors on 2017 Tower Open Day - see report in "Ilkley Gazette article Sept 2017".

We’d like to offer a warm welcome to anyone interested in bellringing – whether you are just curious about how bells are rung, want to learn to ring, or are already a ringer and want to visit.

Ringing is open to all – there’s no obligation to attend church. Some of the band do; most don’t.

THE ESSENTIAL DETAILS:

We have:

  • an 8-bell tower with an 18cwt tenor at All Saints, Ilkley and a 6 bell tower with an 10cwt tenor at St Peters, Addingham,
  • an enthusiastic band of ringers,
  • noteworthy history,
  • a warm welcome for visitors…..and
  • several good pubs close by if people get thirsty – which about half the band does.

For those interested in clocks, the Ilkley one is a Potts.

    1. Hi,

I sent an email this morning at 11.38 to sec137@yahoo.co.uk, explaining why the 11.00am booking for Liz was about to be rejected. Might be worth checking your Junk folder?

      Thanks,

      Andrew D
